University Honors Program


"The University Honors Program at the Boca Raton Campus of Florida Atlantic University has been designed to provide  students with exceptional and rewarding learning opportunities through special Honors Courses, the University Honors SLS 1501 - Introduction to Academic Life, Honors sections of Freshman courses and the option of taking more advanced courses to substitute for first-year required courses. The advantages of the University Honors Program include small class size, close contact with many of the University’s top ranked faculty, as well as special advising/registration.

For students whose academic plans include post-baccalaureate study either in graduate school, law  or medical schools, or other professional education, the University Honors Program is an excellent beginning for a distinguished academic career. The goal of the University Honors Program at Florida Atlantic University is not only to provide an education that will successfully prepare you for whatever career you choose, but also to give you a learning experience that will prepare you to continue your education throughout your life."
